Maurelli Group’s mission is to offer its customers highly professional maintenance management and 24/7 roadside assistance to minimize costs and the downtime of their vehicles. To deliver this, data transparency is key for the highest possible efficiency and availability.
This data is sourced from SAP ECC 6.0 and Microsoft Power BI is used as the business intelligence solution. But because there is no direct connection between systems, a manual process which entailed a great deal of time and money was in place. To help achieve their mission, Maurelli Group wanted a solution that would eliminate the manual effort in favor of an automated process.

Solution with Xtract Universal
Through the referral of colleagues, Maurelli Group began testing Xtract Universal for the SAP integration solution. With Xtract Universal, Maurelli Group now transfers data from SAP ECC 6.0 to Microsoft SQL Server on a daily basis. The system acts as a central hub for business intelligence apps using Microsoft Power BI. These applications include reports at the management level and in the corporate areas of controlling, finance, operations and maintenance, logistics, marketing, and service and support.
Maurelli believes that the greatest advantage using Xtract Universal is the amount of time and money it saves them. Because of the easy set up of the SAP data extractions and complete access to all vital data decisions are made much faster with more accuracy.
Stanislao Corvino concluded: “We now have more time to analyze our data, and we can even work with live data. We were also able to automate our reporting. For example, we now have automatically updated logistics, sales, and revenue reports at our disposal.”
