Effortless Meals and Entertainment receipts with SAP data integration
Whether it’s a business lunch with customers, suppliers, or important business partners, or simply a meal in the company cafeteria, there are many occasions when a meals and entertainment receipt need to be issued and recorded. This use case is about extending a cafeteria app created with Microsoft Power Apps to efficiently track meals and entertainment receipts. The app makes it easier for employees to document the cost of business meals and entertainment transparently and accurately. The challenge, however, is to connect the app to SAP. Without direct access to the relevant SAP data, employees must manually enter the cost centers for meals and entertainment receipts. This makes it more difficult to account for expenses correctly, and it also means more work to maintain the data twice.
Efficient creation of meal and entertainment receipts thanks to yunIO
With yunIO, the handling of the cafeteria app is significantly simplified. Through the direct integration of SAP data, employees can use a drop-down field with current cost center data from SAP in the app. With a simple click, they can select the appropriate cost center without having to leave the app. Meals and entertainment receipts are generated accurately and easily, speeding up the approval and accounting process. Employees benefit from significant time and cost savings, and the company benefits from a streamlined and digitized process that ensures accurate data consistency.
