SAP process automation without SAP GUI
Intuitive and flexible process design
yunIO is our no-code application for designing, automating, and integrating SAP processes in the cloud.
yunIO is the leanest way imaginable for connecting SAP and web or cloud-based applications. Even complex process sequences can easily overcome system limits. No matter whether SAP is operated on-premises or in the cloud.
Processes can be designed with complete flexibility using an intuitive user interface. Whether simple or rather complex processes, with or without notifications – all of this can be set any way you need it, without SAP GUI, and with just a mouse click.
Users benefit from better and faster process flows since they can design the processes individually and gain access to data via a central platform at any time, regardless of location and device. To put it simply: SAP processes become easy with yunIO.
By the way, our name was inspired by the Chinese word for cloud: “yun”. And “IO” stands for input and output, because that’s our specialty: writing data to SAP and extracting data out of SAP – all within your familiar cloud environment.
Time-saving SAP process automation
Slim down your SAP processes
yunIO completely works without any programming. Its installation is very easy and done in practically no time. A Windows service, which runs in the background and can be easily launched, stopped, and administered, handles all of the communication with the SAP system.
With the help of a web interface, yunIO services can be easily put together, which on one side address SAP function modules, tables or transactions and on the other side are used in the target application. SAP complexity is eliminated by the yunIO services, so that a clean, simple REST service is created.
Typical cloud applications such as Salesforce, Nintex, Power Automate, and many more can be connected to yunIO services with ease and low maintenance.
Security has top priority, especially in the cloud. There are no compromises here, taking into account all enterprise-relevant security standards.
Transaction feature: Makes complex processes easy
Rethinking the automation of SAP transactions
yunIO’s transaction feature is a unique world first in transaction automation that enables users and power users to control SAP transactions directly and totally without any need for the SAP GUI. SAP transactions are accessed via a technical protocol that enables you to access SAP via the yunIO Designer – just as if you were working in the SAP GUI. Transactions and known work processes are reproduced, recorded, and can then be made dynamic and parameterized in order to minimize the development effort and shorten the duration of integration projects.
The transaction feature offers extended functionality compared to the classic SAP transaction recorder, which has significant limitations due to its technical characteristics.
With the yunIO transaction feature, more complex transactions can also be called up and executed, such as HR master personnel data maintenance (PA30) and personnel actions (PA40). Transactions, such as maintaining supplier master data (XK01) or incoming and outgoing goods (MIGO and MIRO), now work without any restrictions.
This has the potential to change the way companies use SAP to automate processes. Simpler, more efficient, and no need for code.
How you can use yunIO
yunIO can be used to design, automate, and integrate all SAP business processes along the entire value chain – regardless of the SAP component.
One example is the creation of a business partner: Using tools such as Power Apps or Nintex, an input form can be freely designed in which the user enters the name of the partner, address and bank details and other information. Compared to entering the data in SAP using several input masks, the process is highly simplified and made more user-friendly – SAP application knowledge is no longer required. After submitting the form, the transaction in SAP is completed fully automatically with yunIO within a workflow solution of your choice.
yunIO Services
Pre-defined scenarios are supplied as service templates and thus open further doors for resource-saving and efficiency-promoting projects: master data management, vacation requests, order approval, time-consuming FI postings, inventory or the onboarding of new employees – there are no limits to the variety of possible use cases.

yunIO is licensed per server. It is independent if our software will be installed on a productive or a non-productive server environment. In both cases a full license is required.
Yes. We provide the consulting you want and need. From a single-day workshop up to a complete interface solution. Please contact us at info@theobald-software.com.
Every server on which you are going to install our software has to be licensed. It does not matter whether this server environment is used productive or non-productive. From our experience, we generally recommend an architecture of at least two independent servers. The reason for this is concerning the installation of updates and new features relating to other solutions in the overall architecture. There are many different factors like the version of each individual solution which could affect the functionality. This could have serious consequences, especially in a productive environment. Therefore, we strongly recommend the implementation of a second non-productive server in order not to endanger the stability of the productive environment, especially in terms of installing updates and new features. We would also like to point out that there are no questions about the functionality of Theobald Software’s own solutions, but rather the whole architecture with all the influencing factors has to be taken into account.
