Automated Metadata Extraction
The Metadata API connects to SAP and Power BI systems and analyzes the existing metadata, including source code. This process generates standardized XML files that contain all the information needed for documentation, data governance, and analytical applications.
The extraction includes, among other things:
- SAP objects and technical metadata
- Object structures and dependencies
- Relationships between SAP objects
- Field-level transformations for end-to-end data lineage
- Embedded business logic from ABAP code analysis
- Standardized XML output for further processing
